Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all registration fees paid for English Olympiad programs, including the Selection Round, Theater Round, Grand Finale, and any other paid event or service offered through www.englisholympiadglobal.com (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. General Policy

All registration fees paid to English Olympiad are non-refundable.

This applies regardless of the reason, including but not limited to:

A participant choosing to withdraw after registering
A participant later found ineligible for the category they registered under
A participant missing a round, whether due to personal circumstances, illness, travel issues, or any other reason
A participant being disqualified under our Code of Conduct
Dissatisfaction with results, judging, or event format

By completing registration and payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

2. Limited Exceptions

Refunds may be considered, at English Olympiad's sole discretion, only in the following situations:

Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same registration due to a technical error
Payment processing error: an incorrect amount was charged due to a fault in the payment gateway or Platform
Cancelled with no rescheduled alternative: English Olympiad cancels a round entirely and does not offer a rescheduled date, alternative format, or credit toward a future season (see our Cancellation Policy)

Approved refunds, where applicable, will be issued to the original payment method used at registration and may take a number of business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider.

For approved refunds under limited exceptions, any transaction/processing fees charged by payment gateways (e.g., bKash, credit card processors) may be deducted from the total refund amount.

3. How to Request a Refund Review

If you believe your situation falls under one of the exceptions above, contact us within 14 days of the transaction with:

Your full name and registration/transaction ID
The category and round you registered for
A brief description of the issue, along with any supporting documentation (e.g., payment receipt, screenshot of duplicate charge)

We will review each request individually and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund will be granted.

4. Changes to Fees

Registration fees may change from one season to the next. Any change in published fees applies only to future registrations and does not entitle previously registered participants to a refund or fee adjustment.
