Welcome to the English Olympiad. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.englisholympiadglobal.com and participation in any English Olympiad program, including the Selection Round, Theater Round, Grand Finale, Campus Ambassador Program, and any related events (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering for or participating in English Olympiad, or by browsing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must read and accept these Terms on your behalf. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
- English Olympiad is open to students within the age/grade categories published on the Platform for each season.
- Participants under 18 must register with the consent and involvement of a parent, guardian, or their school.
- Group registrations submitted by a school or institution are the responsibility of the submitting school to ensure accurate student information.
- English Olympiad reserves the right to verify eligibility (age, grade, school affiliation) at any stage and to disqualify entries that do not meet published criteria.
2. Registration & Accounts
- You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials or admit card details associated with your registration.
- English Olympiad is not responsible for any loss or issue arising from inaccurate information submitted at registration, or from unauthorized use of your account or admit card.
3. Registration Fees & Payment
- Participation in certain rounds requires payment of a registration fee, as published on the Platform for the relevant season and category.
- Fees are processed through third-party payment providers (such as bKash, aamarPay, PayPal, or similar, depending on your country).
- All registration fees are non-refundable, once paid, under any circumstances, including withdrawal from the competition, ineligibility discovered after registration, missed rounds, or failure to attend a scheduled event.
- English Olympiad reserves the right to change registration fees for future seasons without affecting fees already paid for a current season.
4. Competition Structure
- English Olympiad is conducted in stages, which may include a Selection Round, Theater Round, and Grand Finale, along with any additional rounds announced for a given season.
- Formats, schedules, venues (for in-person rounds), and judging criteria are set by English Olympiad and may be updated season to season. Where reasonably possible, changes will be communicated to registered participants in advance.
- Advancement between rounds is determined at the sole discretion of English Olympiad's adjudication panel, based on the published scoring criteria.
- English Olympiad may modify, postpone, or cancel a round due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g., venue unavailability, extreme weather, public health concerns). Registration fees remain non-refundable in such cases, though English Olympiad may, at its discretion, offer an alternative round date or format.
5. Code of Conduct
By participating, you agree to:
- Submit your own original work and represent yourself honestly in all rounds
- Treat adjudicators, staff, Campus Ambassadors, volunteers, and fellow participants with respect
- Refrain from cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, or any attempt to gain unfair advantage
- Follow venue rules and instructions at any in-person event
English Olympiad reserves the right to disqualify any participant found in violation of this Code of Conduct, at any stage of the competition, without refund.
6. Submissions & Intellectual Property
- Any written work, video, audio, or performance submitted as part of a competition round remains your original intellectual property.
- By submitting an entry, you grant English Olympiad a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and publish your submission — in whole or in part — for the purposes of judging, publicity, archival records, and promotion of English Olympiad, including on the website and social media.
- You confirm that your submission is your own original work and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
7. Photos, Video & Publicity
Participation in Selection Rounds, Theater Rounds, the Grand Finale, or any in-person English Olympiad event may involve photography and video recording. By participating, you consent to the English Olympiad using your name, photo, video, and quotes for promotional and archival purposes, as further described in our Privacy Policy. If you wish to object to this use, you must notify us in writing before the event using the contact details in Section 13.
8. Campus Ambassador Program
- Campus Ambassadors act as independent volunteers or representatives promoting English Olympiad within their school, college, or community, under terms communicated separately at the time of onboarding.
- Nothing in this relationship constitutes employment, agency, or partnership with English Olympiad, unless separately agreed in writing.
- English Olympiad reserves the right to end a Campus Ambassador's role at its discretion for violation of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
9. Disqualification & Termination
English Olympiad may suspend or disqualify a participant, or terminate access to the Platform, at its discretion, for reasons including but not limited to:
- Providing false or misleading registration information
- Violating the Code of Conduct
- Attempting to manipulate scoring or results
- Any conduct that English Olympiad reasonably believes harms the integrity of the competition or the safety of other participants
Disqualification does not entitle the participant to a refund of any fees paid.
10. Results & Certificates
- Results, rankings, and awards are determined at the sole discretion of English Olympiad's adjudication panel and are final.
- Certificates, honor rolls, or other recognitions will be issued according to the format and timeline announced for each season.
- English Olympiad reserves the right to correct any published result found to contain an error.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- English Olympiad provides the Platform and its programs on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
- English Olympiad is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the competition, use of the Platform, or reliance on any information provided through it.
- English Olympiad is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or any other costs incurred by participants in connection with in-person rounds.
- Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
English Olympiad may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programs or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform or participation in a subsequent season after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
